Wedding Party Attire
There are different wedding party attires for weddings in different seasons.
Bride's Attire
Traditionally, spring brides choose taffeta and lace. Winter brides favor brocade, satin, velvet or other heavy formal fabric and in summer, brides prefer organdy, chiffon or cotton.
According to the tradition the wedding dress of a bride can be white or off-white. But today's, modern brides opt for colorful and printed wedding dresses. A bride should wear a dress in which she feels comfortable because she is attraction point in the show.
If the theme of the wedding party is formal then the bride can wear a short face veil or a long veil reaching to her waist. The bride wears a long white dress without veil and train when the groom chooses a dark suit for wedding.
Groom's Attire
The groom wears gray waistcoats, cutaway jackets and dark striped trousers for a traditional, formal daytime wedding party. For the informal wedding party he wears gray waistcoat, gray sack coat, and dark striped trousers. The men wear white ties and tails in the formal wedding.
Bridesmaids Attire
For bride's attendants she selects the dresses. For every dress attendant pays for her, so the bride should have to consider the cost of the dresses.
According to the tradition, all the bridesmaids wear identical dresses. A dress similar to bridesmaids or a dress that is made in little different style and color can be wore by the maid/matron of honor. For the perfect color combination many people wear shoes dyed with the matching color of their dresses.
The Mothers Attire
The dressing style and colors of the dresses of mother's of bride groom should not be similar, particularly when they don't have the same tastes. Discuss with each other and choose the dressing styles for them. They should be comfortable with what they wear. And also it is important their dresses should not outshine the bride.
Guests Attire
Depending on the time of the day guests choose the attire for wearing.
Women guests wear cocktail dresses, or festive blouses or sweaters with long skirts for the formal daytime weddings. For daytime as well as evening formal weddings men wear suits. If the evening wedding is so much formal then women wear long dresses or dressy cocktail suits and men wear dinner jackets.
The guests can choose from any color but black is fine color to wear at wedding. It is also well if you wear white or off-white dress.
