Wedding Party Introduction

Guests will be invited to seat in the reception area after the social hour. This will take near about ten to fifteen minutes depending on the number of guests. After the guests are seated and the bridal party in order the introduction should start.

The in charge of making introduction is the DJ or bandleader to create the smoothest transition from music to each introduction. You have to make decision that who should introduce the wedding part.

Here is the idea, when you are prepared with the complete list of your wedding party name. You also want to write something about every person so that the guests will know how much the person is important for you. You can write sentimental or funny line for the person that will enjoy this person touch.

In the following order wedding party introductions can be performed.

Grandparents

A grandmother should be always being introduced at first and you can also introduce your grandfather from his table.

Parents of the bride

Also you can introduce the parents of bride.

Parents of the groom

Like wise you can also introduce the parents of the groom.

In case if there is a combined family.
First, the mother and escort of bride are introduced.
Then introduce the bride's dad with whomever he is escorting.
After completing the introduction of bride's parent, groom's mother and her escorts should be introduced.
Finally, the groom's father. (Remember mother should always be escorted.)

Generally, at the time of introduction the smooth and silent music is played. Select two songs one for bride and groom and one for the wedding party.

Also select a song, which is so unique and personal, specifically for the introducing the bride and groom. Before the wedding party date you should meet with the person who will be doing the introductions. Go through the list of names and check whether any name should remain.

If you don't want to introduce all these persons then only make introduction of bride and groom. This is the very special day to share your happiest moments with your closer ones.
